Schools will hand out game material to children aged 11 and under. This will include a card for the child, a card for a parent/carer and a map. Participating schools begin distributing these to pupils in the week leading up to the game. Cards must be registered online to join the school team and to monitor performance.
Players over the age of 13 can choose to play with the app rather than a card. Follow the instructions for downloading the app and sign up an account via the app, or alternatively if you've created an account already via the website, login. You can then add your child as a player profile and connect their card to their account. A child must use a card even if playing via their parent's app.
Adults can help support a school team or join/set up a community team. This could be a team for your local club, workplace or even a big group of friends. Alternatively, you can also choose to play for a local charity, and your points will help them reach their donation goal.
If choosing to play with a card, anyone aged 12 and above can collect a card to play with from their local distribution point. When you've collected a card, just create an account online, connect your card to the account and get swiping. Find out where to collect a card via your game's FAQs.
